Get Started at the What If … Festival!
The fun starts at the What If... Festival on September 6th where free lessons will be available all day long. Those pieces made during your lesson will be carefully labeled and prepped for glazing and decorating at the Clayfest two weeks later in Manitou Springs. Clayfest will run all weekend — Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st — with free lessons, as well as some more structured classes for a fee.
Check out the What If … Festival website for more information and maps.
Finish up, or just show up …
Two weeks later, at the official Clayfest in Manitou Springs, have your pot from 'What if' glazed and finished on site by Manitou's own, Mark Wong!
Don't worry if you missed the What If … Festival, we'll have some pre-made pots that you can glaze and fire on site! There will also be lessons all day Saturday and Sunday for anyone who would like to learn a little about throwing ceramics!
Clayfest will be held in Soda Springs park in Manitou Springs.
